Conduction seal involves directly heating the sealing film and the container mouth with the heating header of the sealing machine, welding the heat-sealing layer of the sealing film to the container mouth.

The advantage of this sealing method is the low cost of sealing materials, but the sealing efficiency is pretty low, making it suitable for containers with larger diameters or low efficiency production line.

For containers without round shaped openings, or those without lids, conduction seal is the only feasible sealing method.
